Hairlines United Inc is not just a business of hairdresser, we are a family. Collectively, we have over 100 years of experience in hairdressing. Some have been doing it for 10 years and some for 52 years. We are always learning from each other and growing in our craft. No matter if you are looking for classic petal curls, finger waves, hottest color trends, or highlighting techniques, we have the talent and experience you need. Penny Driggers
stylist
While attending East Bay High School, Penny completed the 1200 hours of Cosmetology class required before taking her state licensing exam.
She first came to Sun City in 1986 to Marie's Beauty Salon. She worked there for 10 years and left to open her own Salon (Hairlines United Inc) in Ruskin. While owning, and standing behind the chair, Penny became a Senior National Color Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems and continued for 10 years.
She returned to Sun City to purchase Marie's Beauty Salon and renamed it Hairlines United Inc. Penny enjoys all aspects of color servicing and getting to know new clients each week as well as spending time with her long-time clientele. Penny currently works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at our salon. Penny sold salon in 2021 to Anna but continues to work 3 days a week.
Darlene Chartier
Darlene moved to the Tampa Bay area from Michigan in 1979. She was part of the original Marie's Beauty Salon. She has worked in Sun City Center for more than 39 years.
Darlene has gained a large clientele and continues to grow in her skill. Anyone who meets her, instantly becomes a friend. Darlene currently works Thursday, and Friday,
Anna Vitelli/Owner
Anna began her career apprenticing the owner, Penny, while attending high school where she was enrolled in their Cosmetology program. She attended regular classes, cosmetology classes, and worked in the salon in Ruskin, learning her trade.
She graduated high school in 2004 and, after taking her licensing exam, began her brilliant career. She moved salons when Penny bought Hairlines United Inc in Sun City and has been with them ever since. She is very talented and creative with color. Her passion lies in color and highlights. Anna currently works Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
T.J. Haase
T.J. has been a licensed Barber/Cosmetologist for more than 30 years. Originally from Thailand, T.J. completed Barber school in 1984 in Denver, Colorado. Being married to a military man, she has had the pleasure of living in many different places.
T.J. worked as a stylist in Germany from 1984-1988. She returned home to Florida in 1989 and worked behind the chair for various salons before opening her own salon where she stayed til 2003. She has successfully completed technical training in various aspects of coloring, cutting, and salon business.
T.J. has been part of the Hairlines United Inc family for 10 years. T.J. currently works Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Betty Edwards
Betty hails from Columbus, Ohio and has been a hairdresser for more than 50 years. She relocated to the Apollo Beach area and has been working at Hairlines United Inc for the past eight years.
Working with Paul Mitchell products has increased her talent in the field of hair artistry. The continuing education classes offered and new techniques she has developed have reignited her passion. Her ability to make her clients happy is one of her strong suits. Betty currently works Thursday, and Friday.
Dolores Manley
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Dolores obtained her Cosmetology license in 1967. Part of her training included teaching cosmetology. Dolores has owned and/or managed salons both up north and here in Florida.
While in the Orlando area, she also competed in haircutting. Dolores moved back to the area in 2011 where she came to work at Hairlines United Inc. She is proficient and enjoys all aspects of hair sculpting, which includes razor cutting. Dolores enjoys meeting new clients each week.
Dolores currently works Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Her times vary, so please be sure to call and set up a time to see her.
Nancy Luce
Nancy has been in the beauty industry for more than 32 years. Originally from Michigan, she moved to Florida four years ago, where she was hired as a stylist with Hairlines United Inc. Nancy specializes in haircutting for both men and women. She also is proficient at perming hair. Nancy is passionate about her craft and her goal is to make each client look and feel their best when they leave her chair. Nancy currently works Tuesday , Wednesday and Saturday.
Linda Sue Anderson
Linda Sue has been a hairdresser for more than 30 years. She has worked in many states, including, Iowa, Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Virginia. She is formally trained in Redken, Matrix, Tony & Guy, and Paul Mitchell. Linda Sue is passionate about learning new techniques to better serve her clients. She enjoys helping her clients look and feel beautiful. Linda Sue currently works Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Maricela
Maricela has been a hairstylist for 9 plus years I have been at hairlines for the last 3 and a half years I enjoy the family atmosphere. I specialize in Highlights and Balayage. I also enjoy creating a variety of cuts to fit the clients personality When I am not styling hair I am a committed Mother of three wonderful children. I am always eager and motivated to learn and educate myself in this industry and this thing called life.
